Information we receive
The contact form may collect your name, organisation, email address, company website, market of interest and the information you choose to include in your message. Basic security logs may also record technical information needed to protect and operate the site.
Purpose and legal basis
Enquiry information is used to review and respond to your request, take steps you ask us to take before a possible professional engagement, maintain relevant professional correspondence and protect the site. It is not sold or used for unrelated marketing. Depending on the context, processing is based on steps requested before a potential contract or Horizon Strategies’ legitimate interests in responding to professional enquiries and maintaining site security.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is used only after you select “Accept analytics”. It helps us understand aggregate visits, referral sources, pages viewed, approximate location and device or browser information. For campaigns, this may include the UTM parameters in the link you followed. Contact-form names, email addresses, organisations and message content are not sent as Analytics event parameters.
Analytics uses first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_*. You can refuse Analytics without losing access to the site and can change your choice at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Analytics processing is based on your consent.
Recipients and international processing
Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the site and respond to enquiries, including the website hosting infrastructure, Resend for contact-form email delivery and Google Analytics when consent is given. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under their applicable data protection terms and safeguards.
Retention
Enquiry information is normally retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact, unless it becomes part of an ongoing client relationship or a longer period is required for legal, accounting or dispute-management purposes. Analytics cookies may remain for up to two years unless you withdraw consent or delete them sooner.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and may object to certain processing. You may withdraw Analytics consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your competent data protection authority.
In Italy, the competent authority is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
